Some Metroid Fusion Open Randomizer (Relatively New Version)
0I was in the mood for a Randomizer and so decided to do a run of Metroid Fusion Open Randomizer. As luck would have it there just so happened to be a new version of it from February that I had no idea about, so it happened to be a quite good choice. It hadn't been updated since I first tried it in 2022, so even if the updates are relatively minor (they're relatively minor) they are still nice to have. Randomized color palettes are the most meaningful addition.
So then, I played the randomizer. I checked every item check as I could, fought bosses as it seemed wise, made decisions about where to go next based on what items I had available, and skipped as much as seemed prudent. A thing I like about MFOR is that even the least lucky run where you end up checking everywhere can't go all that long if you do things right, and this was shy of least lucky.
I want to do more Randomizer stuff in the future though no promises when. I'd love to try Dread Randomizer or perhaps some other 3D Zelda ones. Whatever seems fun!
