Forgotten is an ambitious horror game that aims to upset you, scare you, and then promise to never leave you. Although the demo uploaded here is very old, I'm currently re-vamping the game. So play it, and if you like it, get excited because there's more to come. If you don't like it, still get excited because it's going to get so much better.

At Forgotten's core are three main goals:

1. Complete Suspension of Disbelief: I am aiming to do everything I can to allow this game to pull you in deep enough for you to forget the real world exists during gameplay. When this happens, you actually feel scared when a monster jumps out at you. You actually care that appearently somebody is trapped behind the door.
2. Strong Emotional Reactions: You play horror games because you want to feel scared. Good news! Forgotten is literally designed from the ground up, from a psychological perspective, to shake you to your core. After playing the full game for a couple of hours, you will be shaking in fear. And when you realize it, you're going to love this game.
3. Personal: Every action you make bears consequences in real life. That's why you're hesitant to do stupid things. It's why you'd care if there was some kind of creature slithering under your bed. But in videogames, these conseqiences don't really matter. You're just going to restart and try again. In Forgotten, they are permanent, and they are plenty. What doesn't kill you, will leave it's mark on your forever.
