SomnaBuster Demo Playthrough: Part 2/2 (Covers World 2 & 3 Previews)
1After Part 1 of covering this SomnaBuster Demo, there's still a little bit more to show off it besides its first world.
This demo also offers previews of World 2 & World 3, only containing their first levels of each.

To start this off, I show off S2-1: Prelude Peak.
It seems World 2 is based in the high mountains. A lot of climbing upwards, and "Macy" will even board an airship ran by pig people (sounds like a Ghibli reference).
Just like in Ristar, you can run into Star Poles in this game, and you can grab them with a Spinjump. However, you have more control of which direction you wanna fly off into, and you can maintain this flight by twirling Macy towards Star Orbs along the way, which kinda reminds me of NiGHTS. The flight meter also gets extended a little as she bounces off surfaces, and she's completely invincible, too!

As what looks to be another grand thing inspired by Ristar, World 3 seems to be a music world. This demo only offers S3-1: Melodic Pass.
There are a lot of shortcuts to take through here if you're a speedrunner. The main gimmick I see here is using the Spinjump to automatically bounce upwards from hitting note platforms. There are also fans that carry Macy around with their updrafts.
There are Star Poles here, too, but there more used for smashing through otherwise invincible enemies along tight corridors.

And I DO have a plan for it! It's not often I encounter games that are inspired by Ristar. That game is almost 30 years old at this point!
