A bit different than what I usually do, but music edits/mixes are by far my favorite to do. Song of the Ancients - Atonement is without a doubt my absolute favorite song in NieR: Automata. It has a mix of beauty and action to it that fits so much. I've used it in so many vids that it's become considered like my theme song. Doesn't matter if it's SAO, Dark Souls, Bloodborne, I find many ways to use it and it never fails.

I did notice the song played with its full vocals during the part where Devola and Popola show up to help back up 9S in NieR: Automata, but then while watching NicoB (who is an AWESOME Let's Player) play Nier: Gestalt, which is the prequel to Automata, I heard Devola playing and singing the song. It was slightly different, but I recognized it immediately. That's when I realized that that was THEIR song - Devola's and Popola's. Each one has their own version of the song, and when you put their vocals together, it makes the full song, sung by the two of them. So I took the verse from each version of the song (Devola, Popola, Fate, and Atonement) and put them all together, having one version transition as smoothly as possible into the next version of the verse.

I know there is actually a song in NieR: Automata called "A Beautiful Song", but this one truly is a beautiful song. If you've followed me for long enough to know how often I use the Atonement version in my videos, and you've always liked the song, I recommend playing NieR: Gestalt and NieR: Automata. It's full of great beautiful music and equally great and beautiful (if not also tragic at times) story, on top of solid gameplay. Anyway, while the lyrics are from a made-up nonexistant language, here's both Devola's and Popola's lyrics if you wanna try to sing along xP
