In this episode of our Songs of Syx series, we establish some of the basic services that our colony needs. This includes laying out a well and a lavatory because apparently all people poop. I also discover that you can scale up furniture and crates and things, which is a real game changer for our management of space.

Songs of Syx is a fantasy style city/colony building game. It's available on Steam and on Itch.io. You start with a handful of colonists and some basic supplies and build your colony into a fully functioning city. You can create industry, make trades, and build yourself an army. Can we take our fledgling community and build ourselves an empire? People often compare this game to Dwarf Fortress and Rimworld and although I see similarities, Songs of Syx really stands on its own as a fantastic, albeit early-access, game.
