This was supposed to be a return to form for Sonic, but it was a big nose dive.
This was rushed out for the 2006 Christmas window, and it really shows
This tried to go back to the 3 stories split out like the Sonic Adventure games
This also has some pretty lazy continuity, as Blaze the Cat from Sonic Rush reappears, and this time is from the future, and not from another dimension like in Sonic Rush
They seemed to spend most of the budget on this game on the Opening cutscene, which does look awesome
The load screens are also just atrocious in this game. I remember playing this with my friend, and having a full on conversation and completely forgot we were waiting for the game to load
The NPCs also have a generic animation where they looks like they are trying to rap, and don’t have any dialogue.
Theres also too many glitches to count. This also features the classic bad game “Fly through rings” stuff you got in Super Man 64 and the Harry Potter games
Half baked cake is the best way to describe this. Its kind of like when you open a pack of biscuits and some of them are stale, but others are alright, Kinda like biscuit roulette.
Awful, but you really need to experience this yourself.
