This is a gameplay of 1 of the 4 new Challenge Modes present in a private beta made available for only beta testers of Sonic 2 SMS Remake version 2.0.B. In this mode we have to collect 3 Red Star Rings before we can complete the level, leading to death in auto-scroller levels: Collect All Red Star Rings Mode.
This video still has some bugs but those will be fixed when the final version is launched!
