After moving through Emerald Hill, Sonic arrives at the Robotnik's chemical plant. Having recognized the liquid from Scrap Brain underground, a revelation hit the hedgehog - this plant is actually a fuel refinery. A side product from refining, Mega Mack, is used as a superglue for robots, but it is highly toxic and extremely polluting.
Scrap Brain used the fuel from this particular chemical plant thanks to trans-island tubes, while dumping Mega Mack in the underground. With Scrap Brain no longer existing, the plant is still functional, but it flooded a settlement near its location because tubes broke down.
Sonic aims to stop Robotnik's refinement process from existing - this will hit the doctor's fuel supply and integrity of robots, make them weaker overall and easier to take down.

A polite rabbit living with her mother, Vanilla the Rabbit. The best friend of Amy Rose and a good friend to Big the Cat, Cream balances the team being the most concentrated and most stable. After she finally got the permission from Vanilla and Takashi Iizuka, she was happy to race.
Of all racers, Doom Slayer seems to take a liking in Cream.
The carts:
Vehicle - a light brown flower-themed car, with defensive plating on top of the vehicle to prevent injuries to the rabbit
Boat - I never played it, but I heard Sonic Rush Adventure has boats! We take the boat from there, add flowers and voila - a cream boat
Airship - repurposed light brown Buzz Bomber, with a puffy seat, flowers at below and constantly smiling.
All-Star move:
Music for it - Sonic Rush: Ska Cha Cha (because Cream doesn't have a theme and also because it fits her)
Cheese-Bomber Assist - equivalent of Sonic's All-Star, but with Cheese (her pet chao) for shooting forward and flowers being the shields; it really fits Cream to be honest; the vehicle changes into airship mode

Music for race - Sonic Advance 3: Twinkle Snow Act 1
The map takes place in snow levels of Sonic Advance games. It begins in the Ice Paradise, halfway through carts change into boats. When the part with Sonic Advance 2 snow level starts, racers are still in a boat. Then they get in the ice cave, where they teleport to Twinkle Snow. The entire Twinkle Snow part takes place in the airships.
Balancing of racer - "Max Payne"
Max Payne's All-Star move requires 2.5 seconds to cool itself down, otherwise his speed burst will be insane. Plus when Blowfish hits Payne, he will be slowed to Boost Level 2, not Level 3.
