Even though Sonic 4 gives you a plethora of extra lives as it is, I decided to make a pretty simple video guide on how to get some extra ones pretty quickly if you ever run out.

The level is Road of Cards, basically all you are going to do is play through the level normally until you get to the part where it bounces you off the floor and ceiling. At this part make sure you fall down the hole, (if you use the launch pad and go up it renders the last 4 cards pretty much useless, but if this happens just make sure you go down after youre launched up or you arent going to be able to get 8 of the cards). Just flow through the level as normal after you fall down and once you land on the pinball live mechanism knock yourself across the big area of cards to the other flipper and use the other flipper to launch yourself to the platform above. After this just run left, get the 4 cards then fall down the hole and get the last set of cards and restart the level from the beginning. Doing this I have gotten anywhere from 1-4 lives every 30 or so seconds, so its a pretty easy way to get lives.
