In this video I beat all Sonic Story Line bosses (Excluding Knuckles/Gamma Character Boss Fights) without using Sonic's hominig attack.

It worked out suprisingly well, and this had led me to believe that the homing attack might not always have been in the game (or as a power up only like in Sonic 3D Flickies Island / Sonic 3D Blast).

It was really fun and challenging fighting the bosses like this it definetly got me thinking wether the homing attack can work as a power up / skill only to make the bosses more challenging again. But then again, there are other ways to make them challenging as well. I hope we see a Sonic Game that experiments with this more in the future though.

If you have read this far... way to go reading is good for you after all: I'd also like to comment on the sudden wave of hate on the Adventure Games (and a little on some more pre-2010 Sonic Games)...

I really think the games doesn't deserve this kind of hate, the Adventure Games were very ambitous at the time:
- Great Storylines:Maybe not communicated that well but again it was the early days of 3D gaming most games hardly had any story.)

-Great level locations:both Adventure games had really memorable locations and levels.
- great gameplay: this really all comes down to preferance, I actually liked the fishing idea and wouldnt even mind if Sega came back to it(as a optional mini game of course) but if you don't like the gameplay maybe the game just isn't for you I don't like N64 Zelda and Mario games but that doesn't mean that they're bad or broken (just not for me) the Sonic Adventure Games had a few glicthes but the game is really unique and ambitious so glitches are to be expected. The gameplay itself is good to me because it really is classic Sonic brought to 3D light exploration, (actual) multiple path ways and cinematic, speedy moments that all tell the story of the game.
- Unlockable items, after story content, extra content: Chao Gardens, Mini Games, 2P mode this games had extra content that kept me playing for hundreds of hours. (Recent Sonic Games only had me playing for maybe 5.)
- Multiple characters: this is a must especially in action adventure games. And the adventure titles had a great cast of characters that played differently but not too different.
- Much more I cant think of now.

This all is what I'm looking for in a Sonic Game that this is missing from the recent games. The games after the Adventure Title still had some parts intact but the game that came closest to the Adventure games was Sonic the Hedgehog 2006 (and that one was unfortunately rushed or it would've have been the best Sonic Game to date.) Unleashed was close but missed multiple characters and the story only has a few good moments (I really like the game though 2nd favorite but its no Adventure quality).
The games from 2010 on, dropped everything that Sonic has ever built Sonic and the Black Knight was the last game with ambition but then Sega started listening to the wrong people and now Sonic is a soulless mario like platformer with no ambition and therefor no appeal. Yeah sure it has super polished gameplay but if I want a pure gameplay game I can play any other game but Sonic used to be appealing because of its grand and ambitous stories (especially for a platformer), setting and large cast of likeable characters.

I just hope that Sega will eventually listen to the real fans and bring the elements that made Sonic great back: Great Story, setting, multiple characters, extra content (that gives the game personality). Anyways thanks for reading all the way through my little rant and a good day to you. =)
