One the other side of Lava Reef, we find Hidden Palace Zone, where Knuckles guards the Master Emerald. In the shadow of the Death Egg, Robotnik makes his move! We must climb the Sky Sanctuary and catch the Death Egg before it leaves the island!

The second half of Sonic 3, the Death Egg has crashed back onto Angel Island and Sonic has to reach it, AGAIN! Knuckles still wants to stop us, but eventually Robotnik will need to reveal his true intentions! Sonic will need to explore the rest of the island and destroy the Death Egg once and for all!
