To compensate for the lack of sprite tests, here's an old sprite animation I did.

Wow this is really old, I made the first half somewhere in 2009 and the second half in late 2010 and early 2011. I got inspired by super mario bros z and wanted to make my own sprite series. I quitted because I realized this was a lot more difficult and time consuming then I originally thought.

I never made an ending for this sprite animation but here's a summary of what would happen after the fight. Sonic would win against knuckles and he happily gets the metal sonic costume. Sonic would immediately wear the costume, then amy shows up and get's shocked because she thinks he's metal sonic. Instead of running away amy would smash sonic with her hammer and say something like 'your never gonna capture me again you creep'
