So yeah, this is more or less what I think of the Sonic Boom designs of the characters. Even though I'm fine with how Knuckles looks... he looks weird and hilarious. End of story.
In terms of the actual game and the actual show. I'm more excited about the game. The show looks like it'll be a pretty standard action based kids show... base don the 2 minute preview. The game looks awesome. And not just because I'm a sucker for "Bang-a-rang". For one thing it looks like it's gonna return to what Sonic Adventure did. Multiple playable characters, adventure and exploration based, still keeping a fast pace... this is everything Sonic Team THOUGHT they were doing in 2006!
