Here's another boss where Tails doesn't make a difference, since it's all about running.
I guess I can take this time to finally comment on the US boss theme. Infamously terrifying, it fits the American depiction of Eggman (in this case Robotnik) as a machine overlord. It's kind of funny how Eggman's villainous qualities were ramped up hard in the west, but in-game he's still the same goofy dancing bad guy we know him as today. The 90's were a wild time.
I think the song actually fits the game perfectly, because in the Bad Futures, we actually see how Eggman has let the environment and even his own factories wither and die. A theme like this wouldn't work in most other Sonic games.
