Here's a fun little feature if the game gets to be too difficult and you just want to get past whatever hard part you're in. If you die enough times in a level section, a Yorb Star will appear right by whatever checkpoint you're near. Collecting it will make you completely invincible, except to bottomless pits and crushers. There are a few catches, however:

1. This feature is optional--I understand something like this might be patronizing, so you'll be able to turn it off in the options. It will be on by default though!

2. This feature is only available in Adventure mode, and in none of the challenge modes.

3. Grabbing this star will prevent you from collecting any of the level's trophies until you beat/leave and return to the level. Or, that's the plan. I realized the Adventure mode should be as casual a playthrough as possible for a newcomer, with the real challenges in the, well, challenge modes. Although you have to get the trophies to unlock the secret levels, I don't mind letting someone really struggling use the Yorb Star to help themselves out. I'll let you decide on that one.
