Sonic Colors (RG180)
16Sonic the Hedgehog has been on quite a rough ride over the past few years, with his games ranging from gigantic hits to incredible misses. Sonic Colors is definitely a game that I believe shows the better side of the series however, containing a perfect blend of high speed running and platforming segments!
This time, Sonic travels to an intergalactic amusement park created by Dr. Eggman in an attempt to free the alien creatures known as Wisps from his diabolical clutches! As Sonic rescues the Wisps, he will also be able to use their powers to perform a variety of unique moves!
Considering the state of the series today, and how much of a mess Sonic Boom has been, it really makes me miss games like this. Hopefully someday we will see more Sonic games like Colors which really show off the better side of the series. Not to mention how awesome the soundtrack in this game is, we definitely need more of that!
