Sonic ERaZor (Eighth Public Release) - Casual Mode Any% Speedrun in 7:28
12Timing starts on hitting A+Start on the settings screen to go into Night Hill Place immediately, and ends when getting into the Giant Ring at the end of Get The Hell Outta This Place. (Yes, that's what the game calls it if you go into 8-2 after beating it.)
Sonic ERaZor is a hack of Sonic 1 made by Selbi, usually known as "what if Michael Bay directed Sonic 1?" due to its explosions and visual effects, or "that hack where Sonic is upside down on the title screen".
This hack is very nostalgic to me, as I remember playing the third release way back in the day when I was like 11 years old. It's surprising that it ever got updates over the course of the last 7 months, after the sixth release in 2016, and boy, is this hack good.
Though... you kinda skip half the game in a Casual Mode Any% run lol.
