OBVIOUS SECOND DISCLAIMER TO NOT WATCH THE VIDEO OR READ THE DESCRIPTION IF YOU DO NOT WANT SPOILERS FOR AN UNLOCKABLE FEATURE

So Emerald Rogue got a massive update last month, so much so that it's practically a new game beyond the Hisui + Gen 9 Pokemon additions. I'm sure if you're reading this though, you already know what's going on in this game.

After completing "One Final Quest...", you unlock the true final quest, aptly named "The Final Run.". It also unlocks a new set of trainers to fight, the Rogue Trainers. This quest requires you to turn on only these trainers, and the Dex to National Gen 9, so everything's on the table. (Well, except some Pokemon that are bugged and as a result unobtainable. Sad day for fans of Pecharunt and Hisuian Zoroark.)
The Gym Leaders in this category are various Pokemon protagonists, who, instead of specializing in a certain type, only use Pokemon from their respective generation. (Lord help you if you get Florian or Juliana late... we all know gen 9's power creep...)
I just skipped over them for this video.

As for the rest, watch and enjoy. Excuse the primitive on-the-flight text box at the start with the GBA startup sound still over it. I just set that text up with OBS itself.
Also if you have any issues with me playing on Shift Mode, turning off permadeath, and using the Healing Flask, go argue with the wall, I don't give a fuck about people gatekeeping how others play. As my friend put it, "more like Normal Mode and I Don't Use Shift And I Want Everyone To Know Mode". At least be grateful I was playing with Average trainers and not Easy.

By the way, I used the Adventure Flag feature to replay this run the way it was, just for showcase purposes, as well as making use of the Day Care to give myself essentially 4 starters. I wish you could all see my reaction to that finale though. I have never felt this much fear doing a Pokemon battle.
Doing this final quest also changes the title screen.
...as seen at the start.

Also yes, I named Yveltal after me-if-I-was-a-Kirby-final-boss.
