Sonic Generations 3DS - Big Arm in 26 seconds
3Big Arm is extremely easy, but that doesn't make him easy to speedrun. There's a slightly complicated strategy involved if you want a really fast time. First, you have to hit him twice before he starts attacking. Because he's just barely out of reach, aim for the very bottom center of the machine. Hit him twice more when he slams his arm, and when he's transitioning into his 2nd phase, you can quickly hit him again before he hovers into the background. This is where it gets tricky; let him hit you, (this skips his palm smack attacking) and as he flies away you can spindash underneath him and jump again to score a 6th hit quickly. The timing has to be perfect or you'll get hit instead. For the last two hits, don't bother homing attacking; jump right into his windshield and keep holding the button so you stay in a ball. If you're extremely lucky, you'll keep bouncing off him as he escapes and you might be able to hit him again for a time of 20-21 seconds. It's really, really hard to pull off, and I only ever did once by accident! Here obviously I missed so I had to wait to score the last hit.
