The main boss of the Dreamcast Era is Perfect Chaos from Sonic Adventure 1. This boss fight was originally designed as a Super Sonic Boss Fight in Adventure 1, so this fight is changed up quite a bit. While the first part is similar to the original fight, they kind of expanded it where instead of just using the dash panels to get to Perfect Chaos, in this game, you also have to do a bit of platforming to get him, and the level goes into 2d platforming for a little bit. When Perfect Chaos is 1 hit left from dying, you have to platform across some broken roads being lifted up from the water by Perfect Chaos in an attempt to destroy them with Sonic in a attempt to drown him.

Perfect Chaos is a pretty good boss fight, though this game's version of Open you Heart is kind of a Downgrade ngl.
