In anticipation of Sonic X Shadow Generations, I thought it would be fun to revisit the original game, Sonic Generations. This particular game holds a special place in my heart, as it was my proper introduction into the Sonic games. It was the first Sonic game I ever owned, and I've been playing ever since. I can't wait to see what they have in store for us when the new game comes out. I'm so excited! I hope this series will help to prepare you for the new game!

Sonic Generations was released on November 1, 2011, on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC to commemorate Sonic's 20th anniversary. It is currently available for purchase on Steam.

In this video, we will cover Speed Highway, which first appeared in Sonic Adventure for the Sega Dreamcast in 1998. This game introduced many elements that have become staples in the Sonic series, including 3D third-person action platforming, homing attacks, and open-world gameplay. This game also established the characters' current modern designs.
