So, this is a first ever Gens waltkhrough of this game. It's a Super Mario 2 1998 hack which was sold widely throughout China and Europe but mostly in Russia. The physics in this hack are horrible, something doesn't make any sense, but it's still a lot of fun to play it.
This hack is glitched if played using the Gens emulator. In W 4-1 Lakitu starts dropping spiky balls with unbelievable speed. When there're too much of those balls, the game freezes permanently. But luckily there's just enough time to get rid of Lakitu a few milliseconds before the freeze in all three levels where he appears. And when he's gone he doesn't reappear again unlike NES version making it possible to clear the entire game.
As for the real console or other emulators like Kega Fusion, well, there is no such gltich there, although it really made the game more challenging for me.
The game is full of glitches. You can easily jump on the Pirahna Plants to kill them and sometimes you can jump on the air endlessly if you have enough space and momentum to keep jumping further. This way one can jump above the flagpole and skip score count sequence.
In the end of the game where Peach stands in her cell right above the lava pit, Sonic can easily miss the jump and fall into the lava xD Some of the flames in Bowser levels are placed in such a way that you cannot pass them unharmed.
