This is a look at the changes to Time-Trial mode in the 1.04 version of Mania, which was briefly leaked on PS4 before being pulled.

The main change is that when you have completed a time trail, at the end of the act (before it proceeds to the results screen) instead of showing your score and ring bonus; it now shows your "Time", "Best Time", "Rank" and "World Rank". You then have to press the "Options" button on the PS4 controller to return to the time-trial menus. 

Definitely an improvement.

There's also some minor visual color changes when selecting an act to play.
