In Hydrocity Act 2, after defeating the eggman boss, and hitting the flying capsule, after the tally score ends, an transition cutscene plays where the wall to the right breaks by an waterfall, and allows you to proceded to the next zone. The trigger for the next transition only happens if the characters goes all way to the right side of screen.

However, if you hold "UP" on the Left Joystick, or with the D-Pad, after hitting the capsule, until the tally score ends, the characters will not move to the right, and instead they keep standing still while looking upwards, after the waterfall breaks the wall.

This eventually ends up softlocking the game, because the cutscene will never end, no matter how long you wait. Also, unlike the other transition cutscenes, this one cannot be skipped by pressing "START", therefore, an reset is required.
