Sonic Mania Plus - Part 2: We Only Do Three Takes
757In Part 2 of the Sonic Mania Plus "Encore Mode" playthrough, Sonic and his friends gatecrash the movie-making business! Because there's a whole city for that apparently. Maybe Sonic's world isn't so different from our own, eh?
With the fantastic Sonic Mania's original release about a year behind us, Sega has released both a patch update, which improves the user interface and tweaks the game (as well as adding some new cutscenes where they were obviously missing before) and a DLC add-on called "Encore," which gives us two new characters and an extra mode to play which changes the dynamic of the adventure significantly. Of course, like a pack of rabbid animals, we Sonic the Hedgehog fans are already on top of it, snapping and snarling at each other over our differing opinions... yeah, it's gonna be that kind of commentary. Woo-hoo!
