Events:
Shadow and Silver clash, the result of which creates a time portal.
They travel back to the time where the Duke of Soleanna was performing experiments on the one known as "Solaris".
Needless to say, the experiment goes horribly wrong and the laboratory is blown to smithereens. From the cracked egg, a flame and a torrent of shadow is released - Iblis and Mephilles respectively.
The Duke entrusts Shadow with the Scepter of Darkness, asking him to seal Mephilles, while Silver heads off to stop Iblis from escaping.
