Gameplay of the zone that was cut from Sonic 2's Development, it was revived in a Romhack known as Sonic 2 Delta.

Originally Hidden Palace Zone was meant to be after you got all seven chaos emeralds so you can gain the ability to become super sonic, the idea was then scrapped for unknown reasons and the ability to turn Super Sonic was made to be instantly given to you once you had the 7th emerald, what a shame it was canceled sicne it seemed like an awesome idea.
