The Animatic of Sonic the Wrath of Nazo Act 2!!
Even though this storyboards were drawn years ago, I still needed to take the time to drop in final voices, sound effects, and music (when it’s me working alone, I usually do that at the animation or editing stage, not the best habit but it was a way to speed up production T_T).
So in the micro bits of time I had during a busy year (new jobs, new child births, etc) I squeaked by to bring this to y’all before the Year of Shadow comes to an end!
Really was excited to show off the action in this one, seeing two characters work together who otherwise had not in “Nazo Unleashed”.
Please keep in mind I wrote and drew these out around…2017? I tried to combine the jokey-ness Knuckles was given in official media at the time with my own interpretation of it, but now I kind of wish I pulled back on it, There’s also a lot of mid shots, a way to make animation easier, but I feel like it’s easier to get lost in space/redudant with how many I have. There’s even a jump cut or two!
Once again I appreciate everyone’s patience and support through the years. It’s of course not at all what I wanted the project to be, but I still wanted the story and vision showcased to the world!
