Sonic Universe issue #62 contained what I thought was a genuinely sad moment, basically Eclipse ignored his purpose to destroy Shadow and tried to recruit him instead, a mistake that sealed the Black Arms fate. Black Death has him sent into an escape pod because he can survive without the Hive Mind.
