Jungle Fright
Werehog stages in this game are really long. While people complain about the large amounts of Werehog stages in the Wii and PS2 version, their target time is about 5 minutes each. There are 3 to 5 per country, which amounts to about an average of 20 minutes' worth of Werehog action. Consider my surprise when I found out the target time for most Werehog stages in this game is 20 minutes! So essentially, it's like combining them into one long stage, though the layout is much different.
Because of that, I'll avoid putting up videos of full Werehog stages and instead show you a side mission, which are pretty short. Here is "Jungle Fright," a task that a man named Marcantonio places on Sonic. Marcantonio is a resident of Spagonia who becomes friends with the ghosts from Night of the Werehog. He loves their company and travels with them to Adabat, where the ghosts, incompetent as they are, get themselves lost in the jungle. It's up to Sonic to find them and guide them back, which in video game logic means to just find them, the retrieval being automatic.
By the way, I pause at one point to demonstrate that I've picked up the Sun Medal. You can see the counter down in the bottom-right of the pause screen. It's a tricky one, hidden on a ledge with 3 Rings as a marker to tell Sonic something is there.
