Sonorous Prophet S27 Barok Plays Darkest Dungeon Modded
1The Sonorous Prophet boss fight is a peculiar one. He gets multiple moves per turn, 1 to prognosticate, which to the best of my knowledge marks a position which will be attacked at the end of the turn for heavy damage. As if that wasn't enough he can also potentially blight every single member of your party with a seemingly high crit chance in fulminate.
The strategy to kill this madman without a healer? Well an occultist with weakening curse certainly helps. Seeing as without it, the damage will very quickly become unmanageable. So a marking group would work if no weakening curse would combat it, though it'd be risky.
Ideally I'd recommend a group like this, Vestal, Occultist w/ weaking curse, houndmaster, and hellion. This would allow you to kill all the pews in front of him with ease while having the ability to snipe him down if you feel the need. Destroying the pews is a great idea, since each one gives over 1000 gold. It's not necessary but it's a great money making opportunity if you can survive long enough.
Do note, his prognosticate is I believe position dependent. Meaning if he targets the 2nd rank, if that hero moves to the first (Like a highwayman's duelist's advance), then the rubble will not follow them. Either way, bring lots of anti venoms, as no doubt some folks will get blighted. Make sure to cure them of this if they're marked for rubble, don't want the dot to kill them before you can cure it after all.
