Sons of the Forest Game REVIEW | Could This Be A GAME OF THE YEAR Contender?
7Horror games are getting extremely popular and Sons of the Forest has taken the gaming world by storm and has already become one of the most played games on Steam. This is the highly anticipated sequel to The Forest and has us surviving in an island with a lot to discover...and be scared of.. The game launched in Early Access but for players that are not to familiar with the series or don't enjoy survival/building games, will this be a good point to jump in? Does the Sons of the Forest story have a narrative that keeps players invested? Could this be the best horror game of 2023? I look to answer these questions in my review!
Note: This Sons of the Forest Game Review is based on the Early Access version available on Steam and will most likely see a number of improvements before the 1.0 release. I will change my thoughts on the game accordingly (if needed). I have played close to 7 hours of this game and plan on spending a lot more soon. This Sons of the Forest gameplay was recorded on my gaming PC with an RTX 4090. I have not had a chance to play this on my Steam Deck but will definitely be testing it there in the near future.
