First Person Shooter games hold a close place in my heart for their amazing narratives and amazing gameplay. 2023 is off to an amazing start with Atomic Heart, the game took the world by storm with its 50s sci-fi aesthetic and gameplay that takes us on a nostalgia train back to 2007 when Bioshock first came out. This first-person shooter/RPG has elements that can make it an amazing game but does it follow through? Is this a story worth your time? Do we really need THAT scene with the Twin Robots? Does the gameplay have enough variety and with countless AAA games coming out in the next few weeks, does this game deserve your attention? Will this be one of the top fps games of 2023? I look to answer this in my review alongside whether or not it is worth the 70 USD price tag.

Note - I have played close to 10 hours of this game on my PC and the Xbox Series X and have a little bit to go to reach then ending. I also hurt my neck at the gym which is why you might notice my neck being positioned a little weirdly.
