Welcome to another video! In this video, I will be discussing the wild claims Sony made stating that if Microsoft were to own Activision Blizzard King (specifically Call of Duty), "Microsoft could employ a number of methods to make Call of Duty less appealing to PlayStation gamers, including raising the price of Call of Duty games on PlayStation, making them only available in Game Pass, and releasing inferior or buggy versions on PlayStation consoles" (Carey, TrueAchievements). This statement is LAUGHABLE, and I've never heard of any publisher doing anything like this. I also mention how MLB The Show, a first party PlayStation IP, is currently in Game Pass, and Microsoft has never made a claim that the Xbox version of that title is inferior or buggy in any way. This claim by Sony is a last ditch effort to stop this acquisition, and illustrates the lengths Sony is willing to go to stop this deal.
