Sony dates the presentation of PS5 games
Many rumors were circulating on the internet, predicting a presentation of the PlayStation 5 around June 3 or 4. Today, Sony decides to silence all these rumors and to speak through their official website to tell us the good news. The PlayStation event will take place on Thursday June 4, 2020.
Sony therefore gives us an appointment for June 4 at 10 p.m. French time! This approximately one hour long event will present the PlayStation 5 games for the first time. Hopefully, the Japanese giant will take the opportunity to linger on the console's visuals or to present the many advantages of the DualSense, the big replacement for the DualShock 4.
We shared technical specifications and introduced the new DualSense wireless controller. But what would an outing be without games? It’s for this reason that I’m delighted to tell you that you’ll soon get a glimpse of the games you’ll be able to play out of PlayStation 5 later this year. The games planned for PS5 are the best the industry has to offer. They were designed by innovative studios around the world. These studios, whether large or small, recent or not, are working hard to develop games capable of showing the full potential of the console. Jim Ryan, President of SIE, via PlayStation Blog
Finally, Sony unveils a short teaser, available below, revealing the DualSense again. This time, the latter drops the white to reveal a solid black.
