Indoors test of Sony Handycam HDR-PJ780VE digital camcorder. Video shoot in full HD in artificial light conditions. The camera have been tested for capture of small static nearby objects, big static objects, motion blur, lens flare, moving people, faces catch. The size of the raw video file on MTS format is 169 MB. Video uploaded directly from recorded file.
The original format of the video shot by the camera is AVCHD with frame width of 1920 pixels and frame height of 1080 pixels, data rate 22229 kbps, total bitrate 22485 kbps 25 frames/second. Audio is 256 kbps, stereo, 48 KHz.
The camcorder costs 1431 EUR or 2 799 BGN.
Compared to my Sony Handycam HDR-TD30VE it costs 409 EUR more (800 BGN).

Overall the HDR-PJ780VE offers too little over my HDR-TD30VE to consider switching for 2D recordings. For 3D the TD30VE has no base for comparison with HDR-PJ780VE because the PJ is 2D camcorder.
