Sony LinkBuds S | Lightest TWS Earbuds with Active Noise Cancellation (2022)
14Sony introduced the LinkBuds S wireless headphones. These are the lightest TWS headphones with active noise cancellation.
Each earbud weighs 4.8g, while the AirPods Pro weigh 5.4g and the Sony WF-1000XM4 weighs 7.3g. Because of this, the company had to reduce the size of the driver - it is only 5mm. SBC, AAC and proprietary LDAC codecs are supported. Bluetooth version 5.2.
The battery life up to six hours of playback with noise reduction turned on. The case will provide another 14 hours of playback. Fast charging is present: five minutes of charging will give an hour of listening. The case does not support wireless charging - only USB-C.
The headphones are equipped with a smart Auto Play function - they will automatically pause or resume playback depending on the situation. The same applies to noise reduction, and the "transparency" mode.
The cost in the US - as previously reported - $ 200. Headphones can now be pre-ordered on the official Sony website, sales will begin on May 20.
