Sony Xperia Z5 Compact vs. iPhone 6 - Which Is Faster?

We decided to do a speed test between the two smartphones mainly because they cost almost the same. The iPhone 6 used in the experiment is running the latest developer version of iOS, iOS 9.1 Beta 2 while the iPhone6 was running Android 5.1.1.
Starting up of the two devices showed us that the iPhone started up several seconds earlier than the Z5 Compact. When the app store in the iPhone 6 and the play store in the Z5 Compact were opened at the same time on the same Wi-Fi, the iPhone 6 was again seen to be faster. The Z5 Compact also displayed some error messages when opening the play store.
