Since everyone who plays Sora just uses the default loadout (sometimes opting for Zapper instead of Sword), I decided it was time to let some of the other weapons shine! This loadout is actually not too bad, it's a lot of fun to use at the very least.
Pulsegun is a great but tricky weapon, it has great power, pierces, pinpoint accuracy, OVERPOWERED hyper, can stun enemies (for bosses, it's once per lifebar I believe), and makes great work of Star Breaker 1. The Pulsegun's downsides are that it leaves you wide open, dash cancel isn't quick, charging for a max power shot is awkward, and can be easy to miss if you don't time the release.
Artillery is a very underrated weapon, easily an A+ tier thanks to the awesome range, shotgun capability, deceptively decent power from afar, and utility on the stage 6 stage portion and Mira (even thought I got absolutely owned in this run, I was busy reading Discord chat on my second monitor LOL). The only downside I can really think of is that it doesn't deal too much damage on bosses (but still, more than you think it would deal).
Lance is a very average weapon, good for taking out weak enemies, as well as being able to deal splash damage, not bad. The Lance is only average because there are way better alternatives that do the same job infinitely better, range is kinda bad as well I guess.
Oh yeah, Tsih really sucks to fight with this loadout, that's really the only glaring issue aside from general worse movement.
If you want a fun alternative playstyle, I definitely recommend this loadout.
