Near the end of this part four playthrough I got lost due to not remembering where all the metal enemies were and how to get the pass to enter the secret cave in Grass Valley. After the recording I went back and found what I missed ultimately leading me to gain the fire stick and recovery sword.

Don't read ahead for spoilers.

The pass to enter the secret cave is under a tulip on the south east part of Grass Valley. Simply go to the tulip and push it to the left to obtain the pass. This will be useful after having received Zantetsu Sword at the beginning of Dr. Leo's Laboratory (your next destination after having beat the boss in Mountain of Souls) and having gone back to destroy the metal enemies in the painting of Grass Valley. Take the pass to the guard at the secret cave and he'll let you enter, ultimately leading you to receive the recovery sword.

Now having the Zantetsu Sword go back to St. Elles Seabed, travel to the south west corner and then north to the next scene. Destroy the metal enemies there (straight ahead on the second level of the volcano) and you'll release a mermaid. Go to her and she will give you the fire stick, one of three pieces needed to give to the Mountain of Souls King.

It has been years since I have played this game so I am not sure if these two items are obsoletely necessary to beat the game, but I wanted to go ahead and get them before moving onward to Dr. Leo's Laboratory.

Part five coming soon.
