So to progress the main story we now need to dive into Arrow's Soul Matrix however you don't need to fight Sandalphon, I'd still reccomend doing so.

Despite the resemblance to a certain other very powerful angel in the series Sandalphon isn't bad. His big gimmick is lowering a characters elemental defense then using a strong party wide attack of that element which will do enough damage to kill if they aren't guarding, and even then it can hit upper of 550 while guarded on normal mode.

However this fight is fairly easy because he summons principality. By this point you should have some physical screen nukes so let loose and build up the stacks to one turn principality while taking major chunks out of Sandalphon.
