The last soul Matrix Boss we can do for now without progressing the main story.

Melchizedek is probably the toughest of them as well with very strong physical attacks and at 70% and 30% HP he'll summon an Angel to assist him which can buff, heal, and use wind spells.

Otherwise he only has physical attacks but given those attacks can hit your entire party and do lots of damage it doesn't matter too much since you have no way to block physical yet and he has counter.

Kinda surprising to see Melchizedek so early in the game he's usually an endgame boss fight or summon.

Once again I believe the Soul Matrix is optional but necessary for the True Ending, unless its like Persona 5 where Mementos was required to beat the game and they never tell you until the ass end of it; Plus these actually give more development to the characters which is nice.
