SoulCalibur II Game Sample - GameCube
Original Air Date: October 13th, 2009
It's SoulCalibur... what the heck do you want me to say about it? It's one of the best fighting game series there is. While the original Soul Blade (Soul Edge) will always be numero uno in my book due to its (at the time) mindblowing graphics, physics, and my favorite opening in the series plus a dash of nostalgia, SoulCalibur and SoulCalibur 2 are superb, perhaps almost peerless fighters.
This game is frightfully beautiful for a game of its time, much like the original SoulCalibur. This game added a few new characters and the cool idea of console-exclusive characters (plus brought back some old favorites, such as the weapon mode). This one has Link in it from the "Legend of Zelda" series. The fighting engine is both very accessible to newcomers and a smidgen deep for those seeking to become masters. The soundtrack is epic. While I'm sure they're out there, I've never met someone who hasn't at least partially liked SB/SC/SC2, including my female associates (some who are quite good at this game btw).
In this video, I use Talim. I haven't played this game in a while (i.e. roughly two years), so I don't know where my data is for the game. I have at least four GC memory cards and can't be bothered to find the right one atm. Enjoy.
