Soulcalibur III - CotS All Enemies FF (Fresh File) Speedrun
17This is a pseudo-speedrun of Soulcalibur III Chronicles of the Sword mode--Pseudo because it is a superniche category I do not really plan on establishing and pursuing and because I ran this on emulator, rather than the actual console (all my other SC3 runs are done on console).
I was inspired to make this run because of a YouTube comment that stated that Ende could not be defeated in a game with a fresh file because he was too difficult. My reply was 'Yes I can, obviously, I've done it many times' but actions (and video) speak louder than words :P So here is the video proof: not just Ende, but EVERY enemy in Chronicles of the Sword, every SC boss and of course Strife himself, defeated (eventually) in a first-time fresh file playthrough of the game.
To put some limiter on the time I would spend but officially 'require' myself to defeat Ende as part of it, I established this FF (Fresh File, meaning a true new game with no previous save data) run as an All Enemies category (meaning every enemy that can be fought must be defeated).
This is the longest speedrun I've ever done, and clearly it is much more difficult to finish this game without abusing Sword Master stats, full-game Spin to Win strats, full-game ultimate weapon buffs, and every other trick I use in my normal categories, but here it is: proof that I spend way too much time playing this game (and especially game mode :P) -- Watch live at https://www.twitch.tv/mskain
