Souls noob playing Elden Ring Part 10 Raya Lucaria Academy
1Note: This playthrough is called "noob" not because all I have played in my life was Fifa, Forza and Stardew Valley (good games in their genre BTW). I am simply not that familiar with all the souls games - I either do not own them or have not finished them entirely. I am not able to fight a boss with a dance dance revolution mat. I am just here to admire the beauty of this game and inhale the ambiguous story. If the game gives you a bow, I'll probably use it when in need. If the game has an open world and a leveling system, I'll might grind a bit from time to time.
In this part, I finally obtain the glintstone key which allows passing through the seal of the gates to the Raya Lucaria Academy. Although the Glinstone Dragon seems to have more attacks than the first dragon encounter in the game, fighting it on the back of your steed still makes it an easy encounter (the attacks of the boss are pretty predictive). Next, I explore the Academy Crystal Cave and finally enter the academy itself. The location is a huge maze, with many corridors where you simply beg for a site of grace. Finally, I reach Rennala. Bearing in mind my last encounter with a story boss (Godrick the Grafted), I expected a true challenge and hours of unsuccessful attempts. Yet, I managed to kill her on my second try...
