Souls noob playing Elden Ring Part 11 Going farther to the north
Note: This playthrough is called "noob" not because all I have played in my life was Fifa, Forza and Stardew Valley (good games in their genre BTW). I am simply not that familiar with all the souls games - I either do not own them or have not finished them entirely. I am not able to fight a boss with a dance dance revolution mat. I am just here to admire the beauty of this game and inhale the ambiguous story. If the game gives you a bow, I'll probably use it when in need. If the game has an open world and a leveling system, I'll might grind a bit from time to time.
In this part, I mainly try to make my way farther to the north, with lots of exploration on the way. The main halt I encountered was a walking mausoleum that I simply could not force to drop on the ground (stupid me, I thought that I should use the same method as in the case of the previous walking mausoleum). I had to consult the Internet only to find out that I must jump onto the mausoleum from above and then destroy the white skulls on its walls. Although it seems somewhat intuitive... it isn't... Later on, I meet Smithing Master Iji, a friendly yet menacing blacksmith. In the second part of the video, I try to get through a quarry (Ruin-Strewn Precipice) which later on turns out to be one of the two ways to get to Altus Plateau – my original destination. The boss in that area proved to be much easier than the way to get to him, tbh.
