1,648The beginning bit has changed, choose the 2009 engine version, then ddouble click on REFRESH SDK CONTENT and RESET GAME CONFIGURATIONS. The games should then appear there.
FOLLOW THIS TUTORIAL IF YOU HAVE TROUBLE SETTING UP THE SOURCE SDK. I THINK THIS TUTORIAL COVERS EVERYTHING TO DO WITH SETTING IT UP, COMMENT IF YOU THINK THERE ARE ANY PROBLEMS REMAINING.
* You need a Source based game, like the ones mentioned at the beginning of this video, to be able to access Hammer.
* Please watch this video before asking questions.
I realised that my first Source SDK tutorial was quiet and very dated by today's standards, in both quality and content. I am re-doing the main tutorial in a (hopefully) fool-proof manner.
This tutorial shows you how to set up Hammer (the map editing programme for Source games). You only need to follow this once, unless you reformat your PC or reinstall Steam.
If you have the gameinfo.txt or 'no game configuration files found' errors, this tutorial will help.
