If you're wondering this is footage of an old apartment of mine from 5 years ago. My neighbor's bath water would rush down into my ceiling and leak out of the fan, light bulb sockets, etc. The handyman they had on call for 4 hours of the day (if you were lucky) tried to fix it but failed. He cut a hole in my ceiling at least so the bath water would waterfall into my tub every morning. He never ended up fixing it for the entirety of my year lease, and management was never concerned with getting it fixed either. Look on the bright side though! You could conserve water so long as you like taking showers with your neighbor's dirty bath water.
