First things first: This is a very different flying experience than you might be used to. You will need to use the flaps to get airborne because the plane is heavy in the middle. It has flaps for up, and flaps for down, and rudders that are very challenging to master as getting them back to 0 takes patience.

These flaps are rearmost so think of it like trim.

*Landing gear has flap covers, so remember to open/close them before deploying/raising the landing gear itself.

It turns slowly to be authentic, if you want faster turning use more gyros.

As for top speed, get it above 11,000 and it goes the full 1000 m/s (approx Mach 3.27 for those who know)

Autopilot notes, you can change them in settings by going to the programming block and editing the altitude or top speed. Be aware that it will not be safe to takeoff or land using this method, and that it really only works even, "kinda well" above 10,000 m

Landing safely, you have airbrakes on panel, a reverser, (use z for that part) flaps for positive or negative and chutes for stopping on the ground or carriers etc. It "can be" a real joy to fly but don't expect it to be simple. It's the normal flight dynamic + trim/flaps minus many gyros... so think accordingly.

As for this flight shown I was almost sure I was going to hit those mountains on the way down, I did use flaps to get over it and a ton more thrust than I expected. This wasn't a planned turn it was a sacrifice to get back to the carrier as I'd overshot it by 60+ KM. This happened because I was up around 32,000 m when I realized I was on target for the carrier, so turning started as though I was still around 11,000 m. At 1000m/s the turn took about 2 minutes and covered around 14 miles.
