"Space Engineers" Gameplay in 21:9/3440x1440/~4k
8"Minecraft in Space" as some might refer. However I can´t take the visual appearance of Minecraft, much more I like the one of Space Engineers, Space in general and floating around in all directions.
You´re in Space, gather ressources from asteroids, build spaceships and stations. It´s "LEGO", it´s fun! Running a dedicated server that is provided set up in 20 minutes, no rocket science.
Technically this runs flawless on this wide-screen setup. No problems at all aside from overlays like FRAPS might block you from accessing the Steam-Overlay. No 3rd-Party-Software required.
Although this is "Early Access" for over a year, I encountered no bugs or chrashes in five hours opposite to "Triple-AAA immersive bullshit" titles like Dragon Age Inquisition, Assassin´s Creed Unitiy or FarCry4 recently.
So if you like open crafting sandbox experiences like Minecraft, please do yourself a favor and avoid Rust, get Space Engineers along with almot 50.000 Mods/Addons via Steam-Workshop!
